		<description>I used to not eat alot of fat in my diet, only to gain more fat around my mid section. I finally realized after doing research that my body actually needed a certain amount of fat to function properly, and to also continue to burn fat. My body was storing fat since my fat intake was so low. When I increased my fat intake,(unsaturated fat) I noticed that I lost more fat. I was lifting very heavy weights three times a week, and running 2 miles twice a week, so my body needed alot of calories that I wasn&#039;t giving it. When I changed my diet, my muscles increased in size, and I became leaner. Diet is very important in the quest for weight loss. No matter how long or hard you workout, if your diet is wrong, it will stop your progress. It is important to learn which fats are good for you and which ones will put on the pounds. It is important not to restrict ourselves too much, too soon, because it causes stress on the mind and the body, which cause fat gain as well.</description>
